PLATINACHROME TESUKI-WASHI Ichibei

PLATINACHROME Ichibei is a handmade Japanese paper with deckle edges, which ILFORD introduce for platinum printing processes. In addition, it is a special type of Japanese paper based on the “Echizen Hosho”. The paper raw material is Daigonadu Kozo source from Ibaraki prefecture in Japan, and it is used for woodblock prints such as ukiyo-e.

ILFORD Tesuki-washi Ichibei is made by Iwano Ichibei, who is a living national treasure from Fukui Prefecture in Japan.

By creating a platinum print on the Ichibei paper, photographers and printers can create highest quality archival art work and print.
