Pictran Hairline
Made of boPET film, PICTRAN Metal has 3 layers in which the ink is illuminated both from the front and from behind. The back layer consists of a thin film of aluminum oxide particles that reflect light. The middle layer is a highly transparent PET plastic. The top layer is covered by the highly transparent and highly absorbent ink receiving layer. The three layers allow the ink colors to be reflected on the surface and by the mirrored bottom layer. This application of the PET film is unique for ink jet printing and the multiple layers gives images incredible depth and three dimensionality. The coating is applied to one side only.
